MOCK INTERVIEW/INTERVIEW SKILLS
The mock interview is designed to increase students ’ understanding and confidence in preparing for the real interview. The interview environment is simulated by a facilitator asking the student a set of questions (usually lasting 20-30 minutes) followed by a period of feedback and an opportunity for the interviewee to ask questions.
- To simulate actual interview conditions in order to provide a more comfortable interview experience.
- To provide feedback that will aid you in assessing current strengths and weaknesses in regard to your interviewing skills.

The Placement Cell actively assists in finding suitable job opportunities for the graduating students and also supports in providing Summer Projects. The Placement Cell in its endeavor to augment the skill sets of the students conducts pre placement training to students on the threshold of placement. The initiative is to ensure matching of student capabilities with industry expectations. The effort is to reinforce skills and competencies of the students and facilitate smooth placement of students.

Self-Assessment: Here the students complete self-assessment inventories and talk about their skills and career interests.
Resume Writing: The instant topic teaches students how to prepare an excellent resume.
Group Discussion:Mock GD is implemented and students are briefed on tips for Group Discussion
Interview: Various interview skills like, Telephonic Interview, Face to Face Interview, Stress Interview are discussed along with guidance and tips on communication skills, personality development, positive attitude development, presentation skills and etiquette.
Aptitude Test: Issues faced by the students with regard to various topics and the approach to each of them are discussed in detail and counseling on specific dimensions of test is provided. Further, sample aptitude tests are carried out in order to appraise the current status of the students and help them to improve further.
Other Skills: Effective ideas and guidelines on role play, extempore speech, body language and case study analysis are dealt with.
Team spirit is the Mantra of today ’s Corporate world. Working alone and in isolation is outdated and hazardous for the health of the organization. Hence the young IZians are always encouraged to work in teams in all the assignments they take up. Training at IZee is not just restricted to classroom; we conduct outbound activities for their creativity and Innovation to breathe in fresh air.
In Outbound Training the facilitator challenges a group to achieve a goal, but does not explain how to successfully complete the challenge. Participants must work to find a solution individually and together as a team, and must communicate and learn from each other in order to be successful. The Learning begins with the experience followed by reflection, discussion, analysis and evaluation of the experience.
Industrial visit is a part of a college curriculum during which students visit companies and get insight regarding the internal working environment of a company and how a company functions, as well as useful information related to the practical aspects of the educational course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
Visiting a company gives students a practical perspective on the world of work, it gives them exposure to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at college. National and International Industrial visits provides a platform for the students to understand functioning aspects of various industries. L&T;, Infosys, BHEL,PROTON, Coca- Cola, Parle G are some of the companies regularly visited by our students. Orientation at International Location
Orientation takes place before the start of each academic semester. Orientation includes lots of events and activities to help students meet other new students and adjust to life outside their comfort zone .
1st Semester-International Orientation at Maldives or Sri Lanka 2 nights 3 days , Fresher’s Day celebration at International Destination. International Tour with International Leadership Development Programme in Malaysia or Thailand.
